Viswabharathi Medical College is located on the High way road that connects the Kurnool city to Kodumur. It is established at penchikalapadu 20 km a way form kurnool bus station. It is 22 Km for away from Kurnool railway station. The Shamshabad Airport is 160 Km away from the college. As the High way is also connected to Bellary the transport facilities are much better to approach the college and hospital. Viswabharathi Medical College is strategetically located in socially backward, poverty stricken Illiterate Rayalaseema region, which is in real need of where the institute like Viswabharathi medical College is the need of the hour.

Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences conducts Counselling for all Government and Private Colleges In Andhra Pradesh (AP). The Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences holds Separate counselling for State Government Medical and State management quota seats.
The counselling will be organized through an online mode in which candidates have to exercise their web options.
